Dick Pruitt, a fellow Husky and HIC V1.0 participant, was in the Venture Dog Pound (VDP) this past Wednesday (our first "bad dog")!

The premise of the VDP is to highlight a student venture and allow them to showcase their company while also receiving critical feedback and insight from the group.

Dick pitched during E-Club Get Together (a skill he meticulously honed in the HIC), discussed how ScriptBots got started, where they are now, the hurdles they've faced and next steps.

So how'd he do?

Overall, Dick presented his company well, telling his story with passion and going in depth on the development of ScriptBots so far! Talking with over 1,000 schools, Dick has accumulated a significant amount of knowledge on the college application (student side) and application review (school side) processes.

Now Dick is trying to figure out his next steps; approach students, counselors, colleges? What specific schools, what specific demographics and locations?

And he received plenty of feedback

Dick knows his stuff, but the audience was tough and wanted to hear a more clear and concise value proposition. We know it's a compelling product, but we want to hear it in the first 30 seconds!

The site has seen a significant improvement since the HIC, but it could still use an artistic update. Catering to the art student, the site needs to do a better job reflecting the artistic inclination of the clientèle.

Good job, Dick & Liz, keep up the hustle!
